PRODUCT COMPOSITION (cont'd)
Also bundled is a SATA cable as well as a SATA power cable.
Not all power supplies have the appropriate connectors for newer SATA
drives, and so such a addition is appreciated.
Two IDE cables and one floppy cable are included. Standard
fare.
You will not be lacking in reading material when you buy
this board. The reference documentation is excellent. You get the board
manual, which is very well written and easy to follow. There was not
a single piece of information that I needed to know that I did not find
in the manual.
There is also a SATA manual for the Silicon SATA Raid
Sil3112. It too is put together very well and though most users will
not require it, the fact that it is present shows that Albatron wants
to cater to users of various experience levels.
Finally, there is a foldout which gives a detailed overview
on setting up your new motherboard. On the flip side, it identifies
every component of the board. This will be especially useful for those
flipping through the manual as they can then easily refer to the full
color picture.
The driver CD. For some strange reason, I was sent two
of the same CD. I'm certain this must not be standard though.
