PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
With the introduction of DirectX 9 to the gaming scene,
videocard manufacturers were quick on the draw releasing their newest
videocards to the market to take advantage of the new rendering features
and lighting effects. To take advantage of the new specification, ATI
themselves released the 9700, 9800 and last, but not least, the 9600
branded Radeon desktop videocards to the product shelf. Since their
introduction, an All in Wonder flavor was also released to cover the
computer enthusiast that just didn't want a normal videocard, but a
peripheral that would turn their computer into a multimedia center.
With the 9800/9700 flavors covering the enthusiast and
the 9600 covering the performance mainstream, the budget sector still
didn't have its representative version...........until now.

Today I will be reviewing ATI's latest All in Wonder flavor,
the Radeon 9200. With an extremely competitive pricepoint set in the
US$150 range, ATI's goal is to bring an affordable complete multimedia
videocard to the occasional DirectX 8.1 gamer.
PRODUCT HISTORY (From ATI)
Over its evolving lifespan, the personal computer has
seen many innovations. The highly acclaimed ALL-IN-WONDER single-slot

advanced TV tuner, and video capture all in one device. ATI continues
to be a technology leader as evidenced by the establishment of the ALL-IN-WONDER
cards as the ultimate multimedia video cards.
ATI Technologies Inc. is pleased to present you one of
the three most recent additions to the award winning ALL-IN-WONDER line
of advanced multimedia video cards: the ALL-IN-WONDER 9200. This card,
combined with the advanced 3D power of the ALL-IN-WONDER 9800 Pro, the

9200 brings great full performance Microsoft DirectX 8.1 gaming and
AGP 8X support to the $149 price point. But the ALL-IN-WONDER 9200 does
not stop there. The ALL-IN-WONDER 9200 continues to deliver the great
multimedia performance that has become expected of cards bearing the
ALL-IN-WONDER name.

Powerful video and television in/out functions are powered
by ATI's industry leading THEATER 200 audio video processor and advanced
multimedia features are made possible with our latest MULTIMEDIA CENTER
