ATI ALL IN WONDER RADEON 9200 INTRODUCTION

With the introduction of DirectX 9 to the gaming scene, videocard manufacturers were quick on the draw releasing their newest videocards to the market to take advantage of the new rendering features and lighting effects. To take advantage of the new specification, ATI themselves released the 9700, 9800 and last, but not least, the 9600 branded Radeon desktop videocards to the product shelf. Since their introduction, an All in Wonder flavor was also released to cover the computer enthusiast that just didn't want a normal videocard, but a peripheral that would turn their computer into a multimedia center.

With the 9800/9700 flavors covering the enthusiast and the 9600 covering the performance mainstream, the budget sector still didn't have its representative version...........until now.

Today I will be reviewing ATI's latest All in Wonder flavor, the Radeon 9200. With an extremely competitive pricepoint set in the US$150 range, ATI's goal is to bring an affordable complete multimedia videocard to the occasional DirectX 8.1 gamer.
