PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS AND FEATURES

AeroCool's Touch 2000 is a full-featured device that takes up two 5.25-inch external bays and can monitor the temperature of four areas or components as well as control the speed of four separate fans (up to a maximum of 6W each.) The Touch 2000 also has an alarm function and features ports for e-SATA, USB and audio. As we'll see in a bit, the functionality is controlled by an LCD touch screen (hence the name) with an intuitive layout and some other nifty features.
PRODUCT COMPOSITION

AeroCool's packaging scheme allowed the Touch 2000 to arrive at the lab unschathed after its long journey. Inside the box, all the goodies are secured in a plastic clamshell box and a fold out manual printed on glossy paper accompanies the product.

Inside, the Touch and all of its wires and accessories are ready to be assembled according to the manual. We'll go over all this in more detail in the next section, but suffice it to say that AeroCool has provided everything you'll need to get this unit installed in your chassis, provided you have a couple of available big bays and some compatible fans.
