AEROCOOL TOUCH 2000 INTRODUCTION
Many PC enthusiasts, particularly those in the overclocking community, have an almost compulsive desire to monitor the temperatures of the high-end components they've assembled to create their monster systems. After all, we all know that heat is the enemy when it comes to computer hardware and the lowest achievable temperatures will translate into a long, trouble-free life. Wouldn't it be nice to be able to monitor temps and control the fan speeds and airflow inside the case to maximize cooling performance in the areas that need it most?
Several manufacturers have come up with just these kinds of gadgets, and the most convenient examples are bay devices that can be monitored and tweaked from the computer's front panel. AeroCool has just released a new product in this vein that they call the Touch 2000. They've sent one along for evaluation and I'm looking forward to putting it through its paces.
