Data storage has become more demanding over the last decade. With the advent of mp3s and videos on your PC, space has become a major factor. This also brings up another common issue, portability. It gets very tedious burning DVDs and CDs to transfer large video files, music or any large files. Although thumb drives have become fast and have pretty decent capacities these days they are often still too small for the task. It's at these times we find ourselves wanting something bigger. Enter the external hard disk. Although they have been around for a long time it's only fairly recently that they have become fast and affordable. Old external drives were slow and often tricky to set up. Today we have plug and play, hot swappablity and numerous connection methods available to us, making the external hard disk a feasible option for almost any user. In this review we will be looking at AC Ryan's 3.5” AluBox.
