of great partners along the way.
Looking towards the future. ABIT will never be content
only being a world-class motherboard manufacturer. We want to create

The MAX Series. True to its name, MAX has the functionality to allow

our goal for expansion. By making different types of products to fit
all kinds of consumer tastes, we are able to make more consumers benefit
from ABIT's spirit of quality and innovation.
PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
Being one of the most respected performance mainboard
manufacturers currently on the market, ABIT has always offered high
quality performance motherboards based on the latest chipsets with additional
features not seen on any other motherboard. Over the past 2-3 years
I have adopted an ABIT motherboard as the base for the Tweaknews testbed
seeing that I always could reply on the abundant features and the rock
solid stability. You could basically take the motherboard out of the
problem equation and focus on other peripherals seeing the motherboards
were always borderline bulletproof.
Take for example ABIT's Softmenu BIOS overclocking section
which pioneered the age of overclocking thanks to the AMD Duron processor
series along with the Abit KT7. Since then, every other BIOS based overclocking
subsection has been based in some part off of what Abit started.
Not wanting to stagnate, Abit still wanted to improve
on an already solid foundation by creating their own onboard uGuru chip
which allows for windows based overclocking, fan, temperature and voltage
monitoring and manipulation along with completely safe BIOS flashing.
So in essence, they have taken an already simple overclocking motherboard
and make it even simpler. Everything overclocking option you can change
in the BIOS can be changed from your desktop.

Today I will be looking at ABIT's 925X Express based performance
motherboard and put it up against Intel's fast stock 925X alternative
and see how it hold up.
