The Samsung SyncMaster 970P is a 19-inch analog and digital TFT/PVA-LCD delivering a fast response time of 6 ms (G to G), 1000:1 contrast ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness, 1280 x 1024 resolution, 178/178 degree viewing angle and scanning frequency of 30-81 kHz horizontal and 56-75 Hz vertical. It features Samsung's MagicBright IITM, MagicTuneTM with asset management, MagicColor™, MagicZone™ technologies and a Triple-hinge Magic Stand.

Through some thrifty shopping you should be able to aquire this monitor for a price somewhere between the US$560-$600 range. Some consumers may think that is a little expensive for a 19 inch monitor but you get what you pay for. It will include the following.
First out of the package will be the usualy warranty registration, setup and information paperwork and the included software/driver CD.
Also included is an external power supply to keep the monitor dimensions to a minimum along with its' power cord. Also included is a DVI signal cable. No analog cable is provided seeing this monitor will only work with a digital connection.
And last but not least you have the actual SyncMaster 970P monitor. This monitor boasts some impressive features to go along with its simple, yet attractive aesthetics. The first thing that came to my mind when unpackaging this monitor is just how much heft this monitor for such a sleek package. It looks like a lightweight, but take my word for it, this monitor is built and weighs like a tank.
