PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
Everyone loves reading about the newest enthusiast level
video card. They are fun to play with and the reviews are always interesting
to read… however mainstream and budget cards are what support the industry.
Very few of us can afford to slap down the cash required to pick up
an ATI 9800XT. (To those who can, more power to you bro!)
Today we're going to take a look at a card that is currently
being billed by some as the best mainstream video card for the money,
the ATI 9600XT.

The 9600XT is built on the technology that made the 9600Pro
a winner among reviewers. The XT takes it a step further however, and
pushes the card's core frequency an extra 100MHz. With a few more tweaks
under its belt, the XT is poised to become the king of mainstream cards.
Is this card a 'must own'?
We'll see how well it fares at Tweaknews!
