PRODUCT COMPOSITION & PICTORIAL

The unit comes shipped in a fairly large box. There are a number of pieces however, including the unit and the stand which take up a lot of space. The front shows off all of the supported formats.

As you can see, the unit is very well packaged, so you don't have to worry about it during shipping. The burner is secured by Styrofoam on either side to keep it from being damaged.

On top of that, the front and rear of the burner are protected by a plastic film. You'd be hard-pressed to find a scratch on this unit.

Here are the contents of the box. We have;

Plastic stand
1 DVD+R
Quick Start Guide

Software:

Roxio Easy CD & DVD Creator 6
Roxio PhotoSuite 5 SE
Roxio DVDMax Player
Dantz Retrospect (30-day trial version)
Toast 5 Lite
Plextools Professional

Cables:

USB
IEEE 1394
Power
AC Adaptor

Emergency Eject Pin

Plextor decided to stick with their 'muffler' look for the PX-708UF. The silver unit is very sleek and stylish.
