STEELSERIES STEELSOUND 5H V2 INTRODUCTION
As one of the most popular additions to a gamer or enthusiast's computer system, the quintessential gaming headset is a purchase that will be used everyday to get the most enjoyment out of their computing experience without waking everyone around them. Now also add in the fact that having a good set of headphones will indeed make you a better gamer by allowing you to take full advantage of sound cues along with your normal visual gameplay.
I have to be honest, the SteelSound 5H and 5H USB reviewed previously were not a very good product when they were released and were plagued with quality control issues affecting the microphone and the headphone speakers. This lead to two reviewed products that both received the lowest review rankings we are able to give out on Tweaknews. To charge such a high price for a poor product that was flawed from the factory ticked our reviewers off. But, can SteelSeries pick themselves up, dust themselves off and put out a refined new version to save themselves from being banished from the hardware community as a poor quality audio option.........well......keep on reading.
