PRODUCT COMPOSITION

Although the MSRP is stated as US$829, if you check out the shopping link above, you can easily get your office equipped for a much lower price of ~US$440-$480. When you combine the prices of all the components this printer replaces, you will see it is actually quite a bargain.

The product box is pretty close if not slightly bigger than a standard CRT monitor container. Make sure you get a shipping quote before you purchase and try to buy from online or brick-and-mortar retailer near you to save on high shipping charges.

First off, when you are unpacking, you will receive a bag containing an English/French or Spanish quick installation instruction posters along with the appropriate warranty cards/information booklet, a software and printer driver CD and a power and telephone cord. (Power Cord not Shown)

Included with the printer is a 1000 page starter toner cartridge to get you up and printing in no time flat. Once the starter cartridge is spent, you can purchase a full 3,000 page capacity unit for US$65-$80. Although some people might find that price to be a little steep, it is actually tiny compared to the cost of 3000 pages through a mountain of expensive inkjet cartridges it will be replacing. Cheapest printing you can get in my mind.

Finishing up the included components is the actual printer. Samsung has completely re-engineered their 2003-2004 line of printers to be smaller and more stylish without taking away any of the structural rigidity and features.
