PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
As I have stated time and time again, if you are even
considering a LCD monitor for your next purchase, by all means go for
it, you won't be sorry. With crisp vibrant colors and second to none
contrast, LCD monitors are easy on the eyes and the pocket book with
their low power consumption and non existent radiation emission. I myself
have been an LCD lover for the past two years and seeing that I spend
a lot of time in front of the screen, my eyes are thanking me that I
haven't settled for the CRT alternative.
Today I will reviewing a 17 inch widescreen version of
Samsung's multifunction Syncmaster LCD monitor product line. With all
the features that are packed into the standard aspect multifunction
monitors,
it allows the user to view supported DVDs in their full widescreen
aspect ratio.
Almost a year ago I had the joy of reviewing the Samsung
SyncMaster 172W Widescreen Standard LCD monitor (Review HERE)
and enjoyed it thoroughly.
Consider the 173MW a multifunction playpen with a few
extra toys tossed in for even more enjoyment.
