If I wanted to monitor the speed and general functioning of my ASUS P4P800 Dual Channel and P4 2.6, what software would I use? I have not yet installed the ASUS software (Probe) but as I recall with my previous board it did not give that kind of info. If other discussions already cover this subject, please direct me to them. I'm new to this.
Thanks.

As I understand it, it can be difficult to find two (256 mb) ram modules to work in sync with the dual channel/hyper threading capabilities. My computer came with ATP ram and I'm being sent OCZ to replace it., and I want to make sure when I intstall it that it is working properly.
Also, I want to continue to learn about computers. I am aware of the various benchmarks out there, but I would like to learn more and observe more.
Finally, I plan on re-building my old computer, as I mentioned in another forum, and I presume there will functions I will need to monitor to make sure I have installed everything correctly.
Pretty vague answers, I know. But I have to start somewhere.
Thanks for your help.

OK -- I'll try Sisoft Sandra. Thanks Nathan.
Thanks again for your time and help.
