Can anyone tell me what the memory timings mean, because I don't completey understand them. Another question I have is that if I am running Corsair XMS 4000 dual channel ram, i should be able to raise the fsb to 250 while keeping the divider at 1:1, right. I think I can probably keep it at 1:1 a little past 250 fsb.

Also, I am running prime 95 to test the pentium 4 2.6c on my new machine and my hardware monitor shows all voltages, fan rpm's, and temps ok. After about 6 or 7 minutes I get errors in prime that tell me that it encountered an error. The round off was supposed to be below .5 but it wasn't. I Have not even overclocked anything yet, so I don't understand why I am getting this error.

ABIT IC-7
P-4 2.6C
Corsair XMS 4000 1GB
Vantec Ion power supply
Pioneer A06
Vantec Aeroflow CPU fan
2 WD Raptors in RAID 0
1 80 GB WD Caviar 8 MB cache
ATI AIW 9800

do you have the memory set to dual channel and the memory in the appropriate slots?

What are you voltage values?

What are you temperature?

What power supply are you using?

Vcore -1.49
DDR-2.58
I do have the memory in the right channels and they are set correctly. The temperatures are
CPU-37.5
PWM- 27
These temps are from the second time I ran it. It is still running and this time I didn't have any errors yet. So maybe it was just a one time thing.
I am using a Vantec ION power supply 400 W. This time it is alright and have not got any errors for the last 2 hours so it should be ok but I would still like to know what you think.
thanks
