hey guys, need some help...

i got a 2.4ghz intel hyper threading cpu, with a p4p800 deluxe mobo, i got twin 256mb ddr 400 mhz ram (forgot which brand), and a geforce fx 5600. i got all the original fans.

around 45mins-1 hour into game playing my comp crashes, my screen just goes black, i dont know whether its my graph card, ram, heat, or wat. i overclocked evrything at the start then put it back to the original, and its still crashing, anyone got a setup like this? and when i do solve this problem, anyone have some hints on how far i should go with my overclocking.

I had a similar sounding problem and it turned out to be bad RAM. Test 1 stick at a time using "memtest86". Mine had several repeatable errors in "Test 4", I ran without the "bad" stick and all was well.

You can determine "mainstream" RAM chip maker pretty easily...here is some help: near bottom of page
