Hey all. I know it's way too early to discuss Ivy Bridge; Sandy Bridge just came out a couple of months ago! My personal computer at home is over 8 years old and I barely use it anymore because it just can't hack it. I'm going to build my own computer for the very first time later this year or early next year. However, I'm still debating whether to just wait for Ivy Bridge, which will probably be released early next year, or just go ahead with Sandy Bridge. Will Ivy Bridge really be that much better than Sandy Bridge? What are your thoughts?
BTW, I don't plan on replacing computers every 3 years; I'm not a hardcore gamer. That said, I will most likely keep my next computer for more than 3 years. |

Go with sandybridge. Ivy Bridge is a die shrink to 22nm and won't be a night and day difference. _________________ Owner & Administrator
