Hey Everyone,
How's it going?
It's been a while since I've really done anything on the computer other than the really, really basic stuff. Anyhow, I think Windows XP's version of MS-DOS or something like that will allow me to rename all the files in a folder from .JPG to .jpg (in other words, I want the JPG to be lower-cased).
How can I go about doing this?

A friend helped me figure it out. Done by going to command prompt and then typing "rename *.JPG *.jpg"

you could have done the same thing from within windows....
I meant that you didn't specifiy WHY you wanted to use the command prompt. |

couldnt you just do it in windows in folder options???? there is an option somewhere for lower case extensions in there _________________ Current Computer: Piece of s*** |
