I'm in the market for a laptop (my current one is 9 years old) but don't want anything bulky or heavy, but would like it to be powerful. I've narrowed it down to 2 laptoprs (feel free to make more suggestions). The first is the Dell Inspiron 11z. I priced it at $549 with 4GB of RAM, and windows 7, 11.6" screen, etc....

The second is the toshiba which is more expensive ($800), with 13.3" screen

The Toshiba is much more powerful and has a larger screen and also includes a dvd drive while the Dell does not....I'd have to get an external. This is what I'm unsure of....I kind of prefer to smaller but am scared it might be too small and not powerful enough. They have similar specs but one is bigger so I guess it's a matter of convenience and quality...any thoughts?
Thanks in advance. _________________ ABIT IC7 MAX 3, Corsair PC4000 Pro, P4 2.6C @3.23 GHz 1:1, 2.5-4-4-7, 2 WD Raptors in RAID 0 |

I think you should do more shopping and especially check out the Acer lineup.
The two options you have there seem to be more expensive than they should be. _________________ Owner & Administrator
