You aren't going to see a huge improvement in SLI with an 8800gt, some may argue different but its just not worth it price for performance. If you are going to buy another card then you should look at a G90 based 8800gts and stick with your current motherboard in a single card configuration, it will work out cheaper and you will see the same gain in performance due to the g90's higher clocks, larger memory and more shader units. Another bonus is that you can then sell your GT and get some money back.
The card may be more pricey than another GT but when you add to that a new motherboard, probably a higher WATT PSU and the headache of putting together a basicly new rig the 8800GTS starts looking a lot more attractive.
If you are still set on SLI then give us a list of your specs and I'll give you some advice on what you will need. Nothing beats research. google is your friend. _________________ Phenom II x4 955 @ Stock
