Nice find, they tend to forget to mention that this research is probably from the late 50's and had been sitting in a storeroom collecting dust untill someone infused some $$ to find a "new" and "better" storage medium. I could be wrong in this case but you would be surprised how many "new" ideas are just formerly shelved ideas from the early to late 50s. The "Space Race" gave birth to far more technological advances than most people realise, much of which is still "top secret" or sitting in a storeroom somewhere.
