Long time, no see. That time of the year for my upgrades. Around Sept. -ish, I ran into troubles with my system not booting. I swapped the E6300 for an E2160, the motherboard for an Asus P5k SE, borrowed a buddy's video card & tried a new power supply to no avail. All that was left was the memory. I bought 4GB of new G.Skill ram and she was good to go. I RMA'd the old 2GB memory and sold it to a buddy when it came back to me. Anyway, that took care of memory and a new motherboard. This year, I picked up an Intel Q6700 quad-core for super cheap (Q6700 + Intel uATX mobo I sold on ebay and Vista Home Premium that is being sold) for $249. Gloating aside, I bought my first good video card- a BFG 512MB 8800GT. I also picked up a 24" Acer LCD for $296- another phenomenal local find. I figure this system should last a few years as I don't plan on being at the same job this time next year which means I won't have access to my Intel deals. Anyway, here's some shots
