Ok here is my setup
Asus P5n32-E ( anything would be better than thay ? )
Core 2 Quad Q6600
Zalman 9700
Antec 900 ( with all the fans ) + 1 120 mm fan on the side window
1 IDE dvd burner
2 seagate baracuda 250 GB
OCZ Gamextreme 600 Watt PSU
Not sure yet if i should go with 4GB or 2GB of PC 6400 OCZ SLI ready EPP
8800 GTX for sure ... but wondering if i would be beter to go with the standard or like the OC or OC2 model from BFG or even a normal Ultra ? My 1st tought was to go with a 8800 GTX from Evga standard one.
Samsung 226BW LCD ( i know its not count in the PSU but would like your opinion on it : )
Will use the onboard FX sound card
Any opinion on my spec are welcome ... maybe something i can change for better performance. My main question still remain if the PSU is enough wattage to support this system
My friend build a similar rig but he got the OC2 8800 GTX from BFG some corsair PC 5400 4GB same board same proc and he scored 12300 in 3DMark 06 without any overclocking. One more question is the P5n32-E a good board to OC a Q6600 ??
Thanks for taking the time to read this post.
Im always kind of nervous when buying new computer dont want to make any mistakes
If that motherboard is anything like my P5N-E SLI then it should OC very well. The parts look good though if you plan on going SLI with 8800 ultras for example you may want a larger PSU but for GTXs you should be fine. The higher clocks on the Ultras make them use a lot more power. _________________ Phenom II x4 955 @ Stock
