So i have decided to finally just get a new computer...again...

What you guys think of this set up??

CPU - AM2 3600
CPU Cooler - Coolermaster Gemini II
Case - Thermaltake Kandalf
Power Supply - Enermax Liberty 500W
Graphics Card - Sparkle Geforce 8600GT 512 mb DUAL DVI Retail CALIBRE OVERCLOCKED
Motherboard - GA-M55S-S3 NFORCE 550 ATX PCIx2 4xPCIE 1xPCIX16-2000 4x SATA2 2 xPATA 1394A Marvell Gigabit Dual Channel DDR 2 800

Total price for this including parts, labor and cable sleeving is $938

Good parts and good price??

Any suggestions are welcome...

(P.S i know i have been talking alot about a new computer but i finally got a decent paid job and can finally can afford to replace my old baby)

Get a Core 2 Duo. Much better bang for the dollar.

You won't regret going core 2 duo, they OC very well and the motherboard OC options are REALLY easy to use. I would suggest going with an E6600 / E6700 depending on your budget and get an nForce 650i chipset motherboard with it. I have an ASUS P5N-E SLI with that chipset and it performs just as well as the uber $$$$ Asus Striker. I have had my Pentium D805 up to 4ghz on this thing with no issues but I am running at 3.4 ATM due to the +40c themperatures we have here in the summer (not OCing weather lol). The 650i supports 1333FSB and quad core aswel so if you want to upgrade to quad core in the future all it will take is a new CPU.

Your AMD has nothing in common with the new one so going to a DuoCore will be the same stretch.
