Well, for christmas i got rid of the trusty 10 year old 17 inch nec monitor and replaced it with this 19 inch wide screen beauty.

First impressions:
The monitor was packaged well and arrived with no dead pixels. It has both analog and digital inputs and cycles through both until it finds a signal. I have tested both the analog and digital pictures and both work well. Im planning on using it for a dual rig setup, one digital and one analog. It has a handy button right on the front to switch between the two. There is little to no light leakage and colors are very vibrant right out of the box and can be tweaked a little more to look perfect. The pack panel cover doesnt lock into place, it sorta pushes on. Thus if the wires push against it it pops off. I havnt had a problem with this since it has been put in its place but it popped off on me a good 3 or 4 times while i was trying to set the monitor on the desk and move it around.

Graphics:
There is absolutely no ghosting with this monitor. It keeps up with the latest games and has amazing quality for the picture. Looks just as good as my old crt if not better. I am very impressed with it. It does well in photoshop too, the colors displayed are very accurate if not perfectly realisitc. The viewing angle on this monitor is tremendous. No problems viewing from any different angles and almost no darkening up to 180 degrees of viewing.

Overall i am terribly happy with this monitor and with samsung monitors in general. Out of the ones i looked at and tested, the samsungs had superior picture quality and refresh rates. This is a great monitor for an amazing price imho.
