I recent was running a pair of 7900GTX boards in SLI on my Mobo, but due to recent sale and the upcoming replacement of the 8800GTX cards on the way, My motherboard is acting up and not allowing the use of a single card. I reset the cmos but nothing works. Is there something I can do aside from using SLI again to change something? I don't have the pair anymore so I couldnt set them up to try anything... I know the card is good It is reinstalled into a dell system I have. The motherboard gave me one LONG beep followed by two Short Beeps, which tells me the graphics.

You probably already tried this but make sure you try the card in both slots. Failing that, see if you can find a regular old PCI card to boot with and see if there is something in the BIOS thats causing the issue. I have only really worked with crossfire so I'm not sure what the procedure is for SLI.

just had to ask, did you switch that 'asus ez selector' mini-card back from dual cards to single cards? its that tiny card laying parallel to the mobo between the 2 pci-e x16 slots. on that board, you have to take it out, invert the position, and put it back in when switching between single and dual video cards.

oops... forget i said that. that's only for the deluxe... premium the selector is in either bios or windows. sooo you may need to use a pci card or use another nvidia pci-e card to get sli back in order to make changes.
