Help my steam is buggered... sad5... every time i try to connect it says updating steam files then says bad module friends/friendsui.dll not loading...i have uninstalled reinstalled restarted and downloaded 3 times im at my wits end cause i have alot of games and steam is nothing but trouble

Do you have a legit copy of Windows XP? This was my problem before I finally sunk down and purchased XP. Funny because now I am getting it for free from Devry. Both the 32 bit version AND 64 bit version.
