This is really good advice and an excellent strategy for users who care about the health of their systems. Every computer I have anything to do with on an ongoing basis has a very similar strategy employed on it and it works.
Sadly, my kids' computer is the one most often affected by baddies. This is a direct result of these young people refusing to be warned off of suspect websites. (The fact that I'm available for support 24/7 doesn't help either!)
