For mine, I'd have to say it was my Socket 754 3000+ on an Abit NV8 board actually got it up to 2.9 before it wouldn't post. Thinking that was at about 1.6 volts to the core.

Best stable results I obtained though were for the same rig at 2.65

I got up to 4.somethin, with my 3.2 P4 last winter, wasnt stable though. Running at 3.6 ATM... mem was run at 2.5, 3, 2, 5 so it was pretty good

Satisfying = stable for me.
PD 805 @ 2.7ish (stable but too hot!)
Opteron 148 @ 2.85
Athlon 64 3700+ @ 2.7 running 24/7

Just got an Opteron 165 with good steppings I need to try out. Hoping for 3Ghz. on air.

I don't have as much time to give these as I'd like.

Posting my 3.0 to 4.02. Didnt boot though.

And old celery 300 clocked up to 667 for a bout a month before it fried out.....ran great though!!!!!

Cleanly running my 30 cap 3.0 at 3.75 for two years now.

I ran my old P4 2.4b at 3.6 for about a year with no issues, to my knowledge the guy I sold the rig to still uses it at that speed and it has never hicupped once.

Now I run my Prescott 3.0 @ 3.0 lol, I need a better mobo but meh, I have an d805 CPU collecting dust in my wardrobe so my next rig will be using that.
