I bought two 300 rms 1200 max subs now i need to know what amp to use and how i should wire it up. Id rather not spend a whole lot but i want a decent amp that wont blow my subs. I have a alpine deck CDE-9846 and the subs are infinity dont really care what kind of amp.

if you dont care what kind of amp....

Are your Subs DVC....and 4 ohm? Just a guess....

Get a good mono amp....that pushes 600w at 2ohms...wire them parallel, and turn the gain down.

what he said...
if they are dual voice coils it makes it a bit harder, either need a 1ohm stable amp or a 4ohm (easier to find).

if they are single voice coil then either wire them into 2ohm and get an amp that can do 600w at 2ohm (a good monoblock)
or get an amp that will handle 2x300 @4ohm.
while the second option will most likely be less expensive, the first option is the one i would recommend.
