|
|
My chief concern is playing my console games on my main rig. Unfortunately, the GF has taken over the TV and couch permanently it seems and my puter is my last resort for having HD gaming goodness.
Most of the VGA boxes I've read up on seem to provide very mixed results. My experience w/ video capture cards has been equally lame.
Any thoughts? Looking for something with good de-interlacing capability and scaling up to 1600x1200 (my monitor's native res).
Thanks! |

Interesting. I did some research. It's actually the Theater 650 that was researched. ATI hasn't made offciial comment on why it was recalled. All I could find out from a few user posts has it that the tuner only worked with 30-50% of it's total channel programming.
I was just wondering if anyone here had personal experience with anything they could recommend fo this kind of setup.
Last TV card I had was a 9600 AIW. While TV looked better than earlier TV cards I've used (Winfast TV2000 and Voodoo 3 3500), console games were still just as blurry as always. Needs good de-interlacing to keep the game from being to choppy in motion as well.
Thanks again for the help. |
