Hey I'm new to the forums and I was wondering if there would be anyway to install a LED light in the front or inside of the subwoofer cover. Just to show of the Logitech logo and the cone pulsing in and out. Thanks |

im sure theres a way. First youd need schematics....then youd have to find a nice constant ground lead, and a positive power lead to the subwoofer.....then just wire in the LED.
Sounds easy, but probably wouldnt be terribly easy for most, however, i guess thats all relative...=] _________________

Not to mention it would be very, very difficult to put the speaker back in the cab properly, and any added wiring (mass) inside the cab would distort the sound.....
What I would look into is the LED "laser" case lighting you can get. Self-contained, only needs a 12v power supply, and find a way to integrate them into a false surround ring over the actual speaker retaining ring. No drilling, no mods to the actual speaker, keeps your warranty intact, and could look pretty cool if you do it right. _________________ Big enough to scare you |
