Post subject: Where can I set the default applications folder?
and/or other folders for that matter...
Reason being, I keep my apps stored on a different logical drive (much easier when it comes to reformats and defrags and such).
i was wondering where I can find the environmental variables that control this location.

try a little program called "x-setup pro"
Its free, and a lovely little collection of useful tweaks and tips.
