I've owned these speakers for about 3 months with 0 problems...until now. I just turned on my computer and noticed a loud hissing noise from the front left speaker. I was able to determine that only when I connect the red wire from the sub to the front left sattelite, do I get the noise. I tried another cable and had the same problem. Therefore, I'm assuming its not the cable.

Any ideas on what happened and how to fix it?

Thanks!

Verify the noise is not there with anothr set of speakers.

It could be the sound card.

Also, what sound config are you using when it is hissing? Stereo x 2?
