Threw up "free software Firewalls" in the Google bar and got quie a few options. Anybody have any recommendations or know which ones to absolutely stay away forom?
zone alarm is nice if you have the time and patience to set it up properly.
it takes a little more effort than most....but once it's "trained"....it performs well.
I haven't tried many others after getting my linksys products....every port scan and security "check" I can find on the web tells me that I am invisible to the web.
so here I remain until someone gets through.
I do remember norton's firewall to be a PITA and not worth the time or money.
