Hi there

I bought a 19" Samsung monitor, and tried running some games/movies on it. However the motion blur was so noticable and awful, I returned it to the store.

I would now like some opinions on the best 19" TFT screen, or any other alternatives for gaming/movies. Preferable first-hand observations - what monitor can I get thats TFT and 19" or above that will show no signs of blur or any image artifact?

Thank you for reading this and for any advice you are able to offer.

Regards,

Spoot

Also, the cheaper brother of the 191N games pretty well. I used it and it was fine.

Remeber, you will always get some blur on a LCD monitor. The trick is getting one that doesn't have much.

The 191N from Samsung seemed to do the trick for me.

Are you referring to the younger brother to the 191N or the 191N itself? Personally, I'm looking for a great 17" LCD monitor that won't cost me a lot but is great for gaming.

I'm referring to the 191N.

The 192N has been released with some newer technology and should be worth a look. I will be reviewing it within the next couple of months.

Where should i go to find the best prices on monitors. I've seen 'em on some sites where they advertise NO tax and NO shipping.....is this the best option?

So, the 191N is how much? Do they have a 17" version that is just as good for games? (I'm not sure my wallet will let me get the 191N)

Ther is a 171n version of the same board.

That was found by spending thirty seconds googling and drilling. *RaE*

So, i'm looking for one that has an EXCELLENT response time and little to no motion blur. Please help me find one? Imagine price is no issue. I just want to get an idea and some options on the best 17-18" LCD screeens out there for the new computer i'm getting soon.

I found a link (its a Dutch site) The page says that the hercules is called the 'Best Game Monitor of the Year', it says also that the Samsung SyncMaster 172X is bad for gaming.

This is the link: http://www.tweakers.net/nieuws/29547

I was deciding on a monitor for my new system about a month ago and finally decided to go with the NEC MultiSync FP912SB. SB means the black version. I got it for a really good price and the monitor is great.
