yeah I knew that news about a week ago. And I have been falling behind the computer tech scene since I have been playing and modding my Jeep.

speaking of conroe... i've been seriously thinking about building a new computer in the next few weeks. and in theory it would be a killer overclocker... but... i need everyone's advice... should i hold out until these chips are out? think it would be worth waiting til the fall?

it is in the shop since March 28th. They have the suspension mostly done (just waiting on a part that will arrive tomorrow) then that part should be done. They also still need to install the transmission and transfer case, fab the rear drive shaft, and get the exhaust re-routed. They are also fabbing a rear tire carrier for the new bumper that is being installed. So I am not sure on the time frame on when I get it back yet. When I get it back you all get pictures. Also anyone that wants to come out wheeling, I would be more than happy to take you out.

these cpus are worth waiting for IMO. Also by the time they get here there will be new motherboards, memory and video cards. SO you will be able to build a very nice machine.
