I believe I'm experiencing "hitching" in populated areas when I play World of Warcraft because lowering settings does nothing for me. I have 64mb of graphics card memory and 512mb of system memory.
Is there any way of fixing this terrible hitching without changing the hardware? Thanks |

Well, adding another 512mb of RAM will definitely help. What video card are you using, and is it onboard or a seperate card? WoW isn't super-graphics heavy, but if you have an onboard graphics chip, you'll get hit harder by server lag.
What you're experiencing, though, is server lag, and is common to all MMORPG's. I play SWG myself, and before SOE drove off most of the population, there were days when even a high-powered gaming rig had a hard time in Mos Eisley or Theed. _________________ Big enough to scare you |
