|
|
A couple of my clan members had video problems when they installed the X-Fi Soundcards.
We searched the Creative forums and found that most people were were fixing video problems by increasing the memory allocation in the AGP Aperature Size in the BIOS.
They both did this and it solved their problem.
Now if that isn't the craziest solution, I don't know what is. _________________ Asus P5WD2

Not surprising, really. Creative put ASIO drivers in with the regular WDM drivers, which can cause some oddball glitches. I don't have an X-Fi myself, but I would see if there were a way to disable ASIO functionality, or uninstall that part of the driver. Unless you plan on recording live instruments and super low latency MIDI, you don't need ASIO. Not sure how increasing the AGP size matters, but if it worked......... _________________ Big enough to scare you |
