I envy you... my scores are not even near there with my 9800 pro AIW... oh well, at least I can play DOOM 3 on optimal settings at 1024 X 768... I think I might upgrade, but that is for a later day and a different thread

For some reason... I am having some issue. My score should be above yours... I have a Pentium D 830, 2gb of 533mhz Ram, and a 7800GTX. I just dont understand this at all. Im barely pushing 73k

why should your score be above his? The Intel dual core and ddr2 533 is handicapping you. So even though you have the GTX the other items are holding you back.

Agreed, most benchies really don't take into account the dual core capability, or even HT for the most part. Aquamark 3 is gettin' preety old, too.

I guess your right... Ill stick to my 5000 score on 3dmark06. I know the DDR2 533 is a handicap... but I remember my 7800gt gett slightly better than 73k so I know this card has to have SOMETHING more...

| Would have been a great increase but.... the first benchie is not taken with the same video card. Your cpu score is nice with the Oc but sorry .... no way you got 3654 GPU score with a BFG 7800GS OC orignally and then magicaly oc'd it to get 8600 more points. . My 5600 ultra got @ 2900 on gpu. Nice second score just the same but no need to bs about a score. |

The first score is no Joke, I ran three seperate benches and got the same score within 100 points or so. I'm not sure what made the difference. All I did was OC the CPU to 2.4ghz and bumped the 7800gs to 445/1350. Maybe there is something wrong with my system. Also I'm kinda new to tweaking so if someone could explain why I have such a change in scores that'd be cool!

Here is my real base score!
I took everything back to stock timings to get this score.
The first score that I showed before was so low because I had AA and AF maxed out in the Nvidia control Panel.

Dont worry CamX. There is something screwwy with the card. I was benching the other day and had a very low score.... and all of a sudden it was like the Incredible Hulk! The card is very new and has some bugs in it when runnig Aquamark.
Try running Aquamark and run another game right after. You'll notice a huge fps drop. (Yes....Its that noticeable) I guess we're gonna have to wait for a new forceware to fix the bugs.

This is my 3dMark06 Score.
The test is harsh but the run was smooth. My 6800 Ultra was trying but its too much.

Yeah, I almost feel like I grew chest hair. Figures, though, I got the X800GT, and the next week, the X800GTO came out...........for the same price.
