| I have a 1995 Chevy Impala SS. I want to put 4 Kicker solobaric S 12 L5's. I currently have an audiobahn 1800D but I don't plan on using it on the 4 Kicker 12's L5's How does an audiobahn 2300HCT which puts out 2400 watts RMS @ 1ohm sound on the 4 Kicker 12's L5's? is audiobahn amps good on kicker or is it better to go with kicker amp with kicker subs or audiobahn amp with audiobahn subs? |

i'll reply here.....only once is needed....=]
to start...i find the only reason people match companies btw subs, amps, Head units and interiors.....is because they WANT them to match.....no other good reason in my experience.
Kickers are good subs....if you have them already, then find an amp for their needs. Personally, if you didnt buy them yet....i wouldnt, and would pick up some infinity perfects, ma audio's, or diamond audio's.
As for amps, im impressed with audibahns amps, but i do prefer phoenix gold, PPI, and soundstream......
with that many subs, have you thought about getting two differnet sizes? Like 10's and 15's. !0s will handle the punch and high tones, and the 15's will pick up the bottom. I ran 1 10 and 1 15 in my ford escort forever and it KICKED! =]
just food for thought. _________________
