As I mentioned below, I'm leaning towards picking up an MSI Mega PC. I'll be using it in a tropical cliimate, practicly outdoors, so cooling is a major concern.

The barebone system includes a CPU cooling element... Should I stick with it, or might something else be more effective?

There is also room for a memory heat spreader, and they're cheap. Should I bother? Copper or aluminum?

If you can think of anything else I should consider, I'd love to hear it.

Thanks,
Buckstop

Hey, Peer-

You seem to have made another convincing argument in favor of Shuttle.

Should I not even be concerned with CPU cooling, if I use an Intel?

I think I sort of understand what it means to overclock RAM, but cerainly don't plan to do it... So I guess I shouldn't worry about that end.... Still, I can't help but think that anything that goes for under $10, and is going to help cool my PC, is worth picking up.

Did I mention that this PC is going to sit in a hot place?

You mentioned Nathan's reply to my other topic... I can't find it. Are you sure it was one of my topics?

Thanks again for your help,
Buckstop

I would honestly go for the shuttle, it's tried tested and works great.
