I would stay away from sapphire... I would rather get the 6800 due to double the amount of pipes.

it was in their pages of deals on the home page...
if you are willing to spend more... you can also get a 7800 around 300. _________________ P4 3.2ghz

if your gonna upgrade to PCI-E in the "Near" future. I would just hold off on buying a decent card. ( I would even donate a X300SE to get you going) Its alot more of a pain to upgrade more and more especially when your going from socket changes and CPU changes _________________ Remember When Sex was safer than racing???

^^^ What he said.
Depending on what you upgrade to, you might have to replace your DDR with DDR2, so save the cash and wait until you can do the whole upgrade. That $200 you have to spend now will go for an equally good PCIe card, so there's no point in spending the money twice.....................or, if that was your plan, don't, and add that $200 to the PCIe card you'll buy. _________________ Big enough to scare you |
