I rather like the looks of the "old" one. The actually rotated the d-pad and 4 button configuration so your thumbs can be more relaxed when you play.

I'm fully expecting a change, since they're still involved with the patent infringement case over force feedback controllers..............the company that actually invented force feedback is winning, Sony is losing.

I have always been partial to the HUGE Xbox 1 controllers. I have big hands and it just felt natural for me...

This of course is the industry (non-Sony) system. Is pretty similar, but isn't controlled by Sony's market monopoly.

Sony is not technically a monopoly, but I personally have problems with their duplicity. They are aggressive in there anti-piracy stance, (US only Think

) while providing the hardware for the act. This is true for there BMG/Sony arm which attempts to prevent using their CD's to make MP3s, while they also make MP3 players to use this format. The CBS/Sony arm likewise uses the latest copy protection schemes while Sony produces DL dvd writers (and computers) capable of writing said data if de-crypted.
It's like selling arms to both sides in a conflict, not illegal, but kind of un-ethical.

I'm still not sure what this has to do with the PS3 game controller, but whatever. The console will be lucky to make it to market by Christmas of this year, since the last word from Sony was a late fall release date.

Too little, too late, if you ask me.

Nintendo has all but admitted failure, and are not expecting to sell many of the new consoles. No support for HDTV, no real game development, potential high price, last-generation hardware. I don't even count them as a serious player Stateside anymore.
