Leaving the team for awhile..........

Well, ok, staying on the team, but I won't be active. Electric bill just jumped from $90 to $130, and we're not sure why. Nothing has changed, no extra usage, no nothing, just a bigger bill. And that's already after a $20 jump from me moving back home.

I'm not leaving my rig on full time, only when I'm using it, so crunching is out of the question, I'd get about 2 cands done a day. Having the power company come over to see where the "leak" is, if it's a landlord provided appliance, or what..........if anything, our usage has gone down in the last month. Wierd, but expensive, and with me not working ATM, we can't afford the extra cost.

Do the rates get bumped in the winter months? As that is a big jump in usage. For that much money it would be like leaving 3 to 4 systems on 24/7.

No, they stopped doing the rate hike a few years back, they just raised the price overall a few bucks a month to cover. I figured it would go up $20 or so when I moved in, which it did.
