Severe Problems with the forums

This is beginning to even get to me. But everytime I post a reply it says "page is not able to be displayed" then I have to hit refresh and the site says "post mode not selected". Then it doesn't post the response right away, and on new subjects they might post or not at all. So I hope this one gets through alright.

Seriously, yesterday I got a warning about an active script running, in IE. Didn't think much of it at the time, but did we have some spam scripts or such sneek in?

We are having some severe problems with the server.

It has a phpscript using our server as a spam drone and we are trying to get rid of it.

well, this is just my thinking, but wouldn't it be safer if tweaknews went down for a couple days so you can take care of the problem? That way the server isn't spamming and you can fix it without having to worry about anything...

It only hits at specific times, it's not a constantly running thing. Been talking with Nathan about it, they've gotten rid of the script several times, but it keeps working back in.

The problem will be fixed permanently rather soon..........for now, I'd just deal with it.

Things seem faster for me, the main page loads up MUCH faster than before. the forums seem a bit faster too.

Dunno what the guys are doing, but it seems to be doing somthing.

Sometimes when I go to the forums, it just brings up a blank page. After that everything has reset and I have to type in my name and password. Usually I get logged in automatically.
