I just bought an AOC 9Glr monitor and no matter what I do it is too bright and hard on my eyes . I adjusted the brightness all the way to zero and it is still too bright . any suggestions would be greatly appreciated .thank you

sounds a little odd...because these items are pretty much dead nuts centered when it come to the settings...right out of the box.

I would also look for some setting that might have been altered on your video card.

using the "default" setting is always a good place to start from.

I have an AOC 9GlrsA on one of the upstairs machines and it has never been changed once.

Just a periodic degauzing.

Hi,
Alittle time has passed since this post. But I wanted to comment on 3M's AF200XXL. I had to take mine off the monitor because it made it too dark. Their expensive, but can help the eyes. And they get rid of ant glare.

I solved the problem of the bright monitor...I bought a sony trinitron flatscreen!..Now I have another problem...Know anyone who wants to buy anAOC monitor?

i'm rolling on the floor laughing, because i just happened to search the net for a similar problem i'm having (the monitor is too bright no matter what) and its a Sony Trinitron!!! HAHAHAHA get your money back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL
