well since this new rig is looking like a monster machine I believe Im gonna drop the doh suck it up and get a 850w PC P&C. I found one thats sleeved with the 5yr warranty. LIke my other parts Im really looking for this to be my last build. At least until after I move out and we get quad CPU's under the G mark.
This may take a while as Im updating the phantom to water cooling. Ill keep everyone posted. _________________ Remember When Sex was safer than racing???

PC P&C are all sleeved and always come with the 5 year warranty.
I must also comment on their customer service. It is by far the best I have dealt with. The call for an RMA took a matter of seconds and I had the replacement unit the next day. _________________ I tweaked and it tweaked back! So I Tweaked some more!

DROOLS.... only a few more measurements to make sure I can still fit a dual 120mm radiator in front of that beast, I just realized its as big as its 1KW mother. I sure hope so... Otherwise Ill be running a dual (or triple if space allows) 80mm radiator instead, but I really want the 120mm for the added surface area to dissapate the heat. _________________ Remember When Sex was safer than racing???

yeah the 850 and 1k's are the same size.
And to be honest with you even a single 120mm radiator is better than a dual 80mm. I have 2 single and one dual 80mm radiators to prove it. Now I only run 120mm units. _________________ I tweaked and it tweaked back! So I Tweaked some more!

yeah I was going to add a dual 120mm to the top in place of my 5.25" drive bays. right in front of the PSU, and maybe a 92mm(if they still make them) in the back next to the I/O panel. right after the water leaves the CPU before it hits the VGA cards to give the water a little cooler temp. There is NO WAY enough room for a 120 (well maybe with a LOT of tweaking) Ill see, I do just want to run 120mm's but they are big, and my case is wearing thin from all the mods already, but I think I can make it work. OMG THIS THING IS HUGE!!!!
But I lOVE THE DOOR... ITS THICK METAL... This case just feels so sturdy. Like I can just sleep in it. (it at least passed a sit on test... and I weigh at least 220lbs
I will post pics up later... Even the door is just so thick and sturdy. And yet the case is sooooooooo light. Its nuts. Hats off to Gigabyte for building such a rad case... Now come all the goodies.... WATER COOLING!!! _________________ Remember When Sex was safer than racing???
