My computer turns off by itsself like every hour or so , i thought that the pc fan wasn't strong enough , so then i put a big fan agaist the pc and turned it on the pc wouldn't shut down but when u take the fan away it turns off again. what is the problem ? could it be from the motherboard ? or the powersupply?
but the problem isn't from the fan so what could be the problem? |

| Not much info to go on but a stab in the dark... your chip is over heating. Too many places to start. Why don't you give us you system specs and any new hardware/software install you have done reciently. Could be as simple as a bad bios flash. We need more info plz. |

your post indicates better air flow solves your problem.....
...if this is true...your chip is overheating.
And please only post in one section.....we will see it, and get to you...=] _________________

| I took my pc to tigerdirect and the guy said its from the motherboard he did a test on the pc and said it might be from the motherboard. So we took it home and tryed to turn it on and it wouldn't even turn on , So the next day we went back and talked to the manager and he said its from the powersupply. So thats what happened i think the guy who tested the pc screwed it up . So what should i do? |
