when you do decide to do that make sure you have a GOOD psu!! With this 840EE running D2OL like this it makes the PC P&C TC510 sing. If the machine is not doing it's thing it's almost quiet. But when it is crunching away the fan spins up and let's me know the psu is pulling it's weight.
But soon it will be replaced with either the 850 or the 1K unit. I hope that will quiet it down a little.
