ok guys..... im doing a project for my job....and i need to rip some video off of DVD for files to upload.
any easily playable file is fine.....and this needs to be done ASAP!
Now, if i can JUST rip the audio off...thats fine too....but still ASAP!!!!!!!!!!
PLease help....my job is being scrutinized.... _________________

I Have used DVD Shirnk to pull files off onto HDD....now what _________________

ok..now im not familiar with encoding stuff....
how can i get it small....but still maintain audio quality.....video quality not so importnat _________________

tmpeg says the audio is unsupported....so i cant convert audio.....*blinks blink*

I need to convert a dvd with ac-3 audio, to an AVI for work. No one has been able to figure it out..... _________________

Here's an idea if you're not looking for major quality of video. Put the dvd into a dvd player and bring it into the vivo of a supporting vid board, then you can resample the composite video down, and sync the pcm audio using Ulead or similar software. If it is for the net the analog loses will prolly not be seen. _________________ .

Doesn't DVD-Shrink do what you want? As far as I know, that converts the DVD to AVI. _________________ Big enough to scare you |

Try DVD Decrypter or Any DVD.
DVD Decrypter will let you rip the DVD to hard disk then use something like WinAVI to encode VOBs to AVI (using DivX, Xvid or whatever).
